During the school holidays WestREAP and Te Hono o Ngā Waka partnered to send 16 rangatahi to the Christchurch Adventure Park. For many of the students, this trip was the first time they got to experience the park and all has to offer.
First, the students were kitted out with bikes and protective gear. Then, they headed out to their lessons to learn some great new skills with the awesome tutors. Afterwards, they had the whole afternoon to put those new skills into practice.
There were smiles all round with everyone having such a great time that we found we had to stay later than we planned so that our rangatahi could take advantage of as much of the day as possible. They were having so much fun they didn’t want to come off the park! Check out the great collage of pics below!
