Team Leader Early Childhood Education 

We are looking for an experienced educator to lead the development and implementation of WestREAP’s Investment Plan with the Ministry of Education for early childhood education across our region encompassing Grey and Westland districts.

Key accountabilities include:

• leading and managing a team to develop and implement high quality initiatives and resources in response to the education needs identified by early childhood providers and community.
• building and maintaining collaborative relationships and networks with key stakeholders.
• Budget preparation and management.
• Preparation of funding proposals.
• Contract management, programme evaluation, and report writing.This is a part time (.8 fte) permanent position within the leadership team and would suit a professional who can operate at a strategic level with a high level of initiative.and hold a relevant tertiary qualification.
