Our work in the region reflects the following ACE priorities, enabling our people to make a valuable contribution to their future.

ACE Priorities

  • The targeting of learners whose previous learning was not successful
  • The raising of foundation skills
  • The strengthening of social cohesion

What’s On in ACE?

REAPs’ ACE role is supported via their national body REAP Aotearoa offering community education to adults and families.

WestREAP’s programme focuses on developing Digital Literacy, building ACE spaces in the community as potential learning hubs for people who are re-entering education, study or employment. Places like our WestREAP office at Blaketown and the Westland Industrial Heritage Park, as well as REAP House in Hokitika.
