WestREAP’s Early Childhood Team run a number of Play Days each year in small, rural and isolated towns.
The first Play Day for 2017 was held in Runanga on Wednesday 5th April.
The 25 children and 16 adults who came along enjoyed a variety of fun and creative activities including story reading, music, crafts, Binky the Clown and a bouncy castle.
Up next was Whataroa Play Day on May 17th at the Community Hall, a great day out with the pre-schoolers, school children and parents and whanau in South Westland.
Our last Play Day for 2017 will be held on Tuesday the 5th December at the Rotomanu Community Hall in Rotomanu from 11am-1pm. All families with children under five are encouraged to come along and join the fun!
